Company fixed the issue and I have been provided with apology. I called them of how I texted several times and that I emailed several times and now I'm calling. They got with it and issued me a full refund.

This is the 3rd time contacting you. My account is closed and I have a refund due to me for $26.75. The last 4 digets is 2884. When am I getting my refund check? Im tried of going through this. Whats so hard about writing out a check?

My account is now in consolidation/resolution, any questions call 281-907-**** thank you, after months of communication, explanations, a number for them to call, constant texts from them, they dont understand what I am doing, being a bank they should help, but no chance, when I get this paid off no more, never will I use there service.

This new sign in system sucks. I've been with you for 20 years and never had a problem. Verification call? The message I get is, did you get your code? Call again. I haven't been able to log in cleanly for a couple months. I'll try again and if it doesn't go I;m going to go.

Bad phone conversation trying to get paid

Not sure what happened but first national bank of Omaha is not recommended by me not sure if I missed a payment due bank account closed due to divorce thought I changed (apparently not) couldnt pay off in website had to call person on phone didnt or wouldnt listen all I doing was trying to pay account off and start new but this experience said I should cancel card wasnt easy but I got it cancelled finally and will never go back First national customer beware dont screw up they drop support and do nothing to help cancelled account for second time I believe I got it acccomplised but not without them making me think I was a piece of you no what recommend you go with somebody else not worth hassle

Dissatisfaction with customer service whether online account access, phone access, or person to person. Most inept bank and service. It is unfortunate that there is not a rating lower than 1 star.

Access to payment of account whether online, person to person, or phone contact. Totally inept in all phases. Every month SOS. The personnel are not required to be literate or articulate enough to complete tasks and are inadequate to answer or respond to customer requests.

I have a problem where my Paypal account has been blocked for no reason. I've been trying to get hold of a customer service consultant and no luck. I also sent emails to them for the past two weeks.

I cannot withdraw from my Paypal account and this FNB bank is taking their own time to get back to me. They sent me several forms to fill in and send back to them. I've done this, but no response from them. I talked to a service agent who told me that FNB was doing maintenance and my account was blocked due to this. Why do I need to fill is forms to unblock my account? I didn't do anything to block it in the first place! I need help ASAP. I'm the sole breadwinner in my household as jobs are very difficult to find in this sensitive time and FNB is not making it any easier. I'm VERY DISAPPOINTED AND ANGRY. Why should I borrow money when I am working?

User's recommendation: Please check first about their customer service as they are quick to do debit orders, but when it somes to customer service, it's non-existent. This is surprising as they are a long standing bank.

I had a Visa card with FNBO (P.O. Box 2457, Omaha, NE) for almost 40 years. I used it primarily for travel. Because of COVID, the last time I traveled and used the card was October 2019, and I didn't travel in 2020. Then they abruptly, without notice, closed the account for "long term inactivity." A phone call to the bank was unsatisfactory. I was told the cancellation is "permanent." I am disappointed with the lack of decency and compassion toward a long term customer during a global-wide pandemic.

Poor Customer Service

I had a credit card for 45 years with never a late payment. They just closed my account for "long term inactivity." They define "long term" as only 18 months. Because of COVID, my spending habits were greatly curtailed. I complained but to no avail.

Credit Card 101- If you don’t use it, you’ll lose it. Banks only have so much credit to give.

If someone is sitting on a limit and not making it them money, they’ll move your limit elsewhere.

Of course you agreed to this when you signed up die the card. Stop whining and move one with your (chuckle) life.

Horrible branch and corporate service

Long story longer. Bank card expires. No new card was sent. I call and asked where is card. Oh, you have to pay for another one if you want it quickly. My response was WRONG ANSWER. Why didn't you send a card prior to expiration? a, well, a, well, a, we suck.... A card arrives several days later. GUESS WHAT? Does not work. I call the branch. Sorry Mr D. We have no control over our subcontractor. UNBELIEVABLE!!! By the way the phone number on the back of the card to activate is designed so customers CAN NOT get through to a live human being. NICE!! So I filed a complaint with the BBB. A week later. Two weeks since the complaint was filed. The bank manager calls, interrupts a meeting I'm in, tells me she's in a hurry as a complaint was filed with the BBB. I be like, DAAAA!!! I filed it. Two weeks ago... By the way. I had to drive to a bank, way out of my way, to make a deposit. FNB thinks that's okay. When I get the balance back. Its 4K off. Bank manager cant add either? The problem was not created by the bank manager. My complaint specifically stated CORPORATE is the problem. They need to call. Finally, a person calls, interrupts my day gain. To tell me a, well a we suck, don't care about our customers and will not reimburse my time. Now going on 3-4 hours. However, will now pay for a card to come. I was told by corporate to call them. I was given a cell phone number to call once I received it. Minutes later bank manager calls and tells me. Soon as you get the card to call her. So I called and told whoever answers the phone to tell her I have the card that following Monday. Guess what this card DOES NOT WORK EITHER. It was at this point I knew this was done in retaliation for BBB complaint. The bank finally answers the BBB complaint. My response was not very nice. Latter that day the subcontractor calls interrupts a meeting I'm in again. I demand a direct phone number to call back. Would not give me one. I asked for her boss. She actually got on the phone, her name was Carroll. SHE KNOWS ABSOLUTELY NOTHING ABOUT THE CARD. I asked for a person in chage who knows what their doing. Carrol tells me she is it. IGNORANCE , INCOMPETENCE AT ITS BEST It like going to Home Depot asking about an electrical problems, and they give you the cart cleaner upper guy. UNBELIVABLE!!! As of today Saturday June 20, 2020. Card still does not work.

Mortgage Payment Date Not Set Up Correctly

First National set up my mortgage payment date incorrectly and refused to honour the date that was agreed without me having to make two payments first then pay interest to have the date changed. The caused my bank to charge me a NSF fee when they took out the initial payment since the funds were not in the account because I thought the date that was agreed was in effect. Worst of all they charged me a fee of $85 as well and the persons I spoke to on the phone made it seem like the issue was my fault. I am definitely not renewing my mortgage with this bank and would not recommend them to anyone.

SHADY AND UNETHICAL. SHAME on First National Bank who shortchanged and cheated me of $1,050 of interest from a Certificate of Deposit that was opened. Despite my numerous countess efforts, First National Bank refused and failed to make it right and make me whole. The branch manager even called the police when I refused to leave for demanding to get contact information on their regional manager which they refused to provide me. As a result, I was forced to take legal action in order to get the interest I was rightfully entitled to.
